GLOBAL INDIA TRAINING NETWORK

Report for January through March 2021

Sindhu P.

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ,

Greetings to you in the loving name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who continuously encourages and equips us to move forward in the Vision and Mission that He has given us! The year 2020 has been a difficult, and extremely sorrowful and sad year for many of us, since we lost our dear and near ones. Now that 2021 has come to us as a special year though with uncertainty, we believe that God will make this year for all of us the most blessed and beautiful year of harvest.

2020 – THE YEAR OF DEATH AND DEPRESSION

Last year (2020) for most of us was very painful, sorrowful and stressful, because the most part of the year, we stayed inside our homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We lost many of our dear ones. Most of our meetings were held through ZOOM and google meet. Though it was the year of death and demise; yet it was a time of meditation and reflection from the Word of God to draw closer to the LORD our Yahweh.

2021- BEGAN WITH DEATH AND DESPERATION

From the beginning of the New Year, we had 2 deaths in our family. First Minnie lost her sister-in-law to cancer. Later, Sindhu’s mother passed away, after cardiac arrest. Please remember all of the family including Sidhu’s father, 9 children, 14 grandchildren 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

CHURCH LEADERS TRAINING (CLT)

A 2-day Church leaders training was organized on the 1st & 2nd of February by Global India Training Network at Paikmal Pentecostal Church. In Western Odisha. The topic taught was on the Sanctity of Human Life. 5 Pastors confessed their old sins that is: they had done ABORTION, without realizing it was a SIN and murder of their own babies, and asked forgiveness from the LORD.

ON 11th February, Sindhu was invited to speak to a group of 30+ Pastors and Church Planters from Semiliguda, Damanjodi, and Koraput region on effective church planting. Then in the evening Sindhu spoke through ZOOM meeting to another group of Pastors and Leaders from all over India on the topic of: “The Mission of God”

WOMEN’S BIBLE RETREAT & TAILORING TRAINING

On February 13th Minnie conducted a one-day Women’s Bible and Tailoring Retreat at our Training Centre. Thirty young girls and women attended and studied the Bible, prayed together, played games and had a delicious meal together in order to strengthen their fellowship with one another. Minnie also conducts a “Titus Women” weekly Prayer and Bible Study. At the Tailoring Training Center. We are praying for two more tailoring training centers to start in the villages.

PREACHING IN CHURCHES

Sindhu is often invited by churches to speak from God’s Word and edify them and encourage them. On February 21st Sindhu Preached at Henjraguda Church to PARJA Unreached People Groups. 110 people heard the Gospel for the first time and 70 people stood up to rededicate their lives and to Jesus. Then on 25th of February he preached in a special prayer meeting at Bhimulipatnam (Vizag) , where about 60 people heard and many young people dedicated their lives to Jesus.

WATER BAPTISM IN WEST BENGAL

Sindhu traveled from Odisha to Kolkata on 26th of February for a special Baptism service. There were 19 believers ready for the baptism, but because of some pressure from some local people only 7 actually received Baptism and received new Bibles.

CHURCH LEADERS TRAINING IN RAYAGADA

A two days CLT was organized by Sindhu at Rayagada during March 12 & 13. Many said that they have never heard before such teaching and training. This training was also about the Sanctity of Human Life I.e. saving an innocent babies from abortion, fighting abortion, giving value and dignity. Seeing and valuing the unborn children as precious Ones and protecting them. Various topics were dealt with, and books were given to all of them.

After praising and prayer, measurement of the land were made ( 40 feet long and 20 feet wide ) and prayers were offered so that God will provide the needed funds to construct a church building. Please pray with us for the provision of God for this project. There is a need of $ 7,500 dollars toward this project.

AN UPDATE ON TRAINING CENTRE IN ODISHA

At Semiliguda, Southern Odisha, this Training Centre is under construction. We are in need of funds to buy the iron rod, cement, sand, bricks, and doors and windows. We also will need to hire masons and laborers. For all of this final work there is a need of $35,000 USD.

One month ago Sindhu and Pastor Subash B. made a trip to interior villages to find a new UPG ( Unreached People Group) and eventually found the MALI UPG at KURMAPUT, in Koraput district. There are 80 families in the village; and by God’s grace 20 families have come to faith in CHRIST. Church Planter Mohan H. is working among them.
