Report from Nigeria (Owerri) – John Onwuka

Brethren, Thanks to the Almighty God for His manifold blessings, and for His grace to share the Gospel with people around us. By the grace of God our church planted two new churches at Owerri west and Owerri north (Urratta and Obosima). A new convert donated the land where they raised a building for the church while the second land was bought by the church. These took place between February and March. The pastor in – charge is in training at the pilgrims Bible College.

Teaching in the Church

During a four-day Seminar termed “Pastors and Church Workers Seminar”, we had 67 pastors and 62 workers in attendance. I taught two lessons.

The church is now awakened due to our emphasis on soul winning and evangelism. Every Sunday the pastor arranges for a follow-up of the new converts in the new areas where we planted the two new churches. I do appreciate IFBC and the grace of God upon their lives and respective ministries. May the Lord bless you all.

Today, our students have all come back to class to study. After the two most difficult months of “cashless society” the Nigerian people saw what they have never seen before. We are grateful for His benevolence.

Brethren, let us pray for our respective nations. That the Lord will soak the heart of men with salvation before the great day. May God bless your churches, bless your workers and your families.
