Report from the Philippines for August 2021

Greetings in Christ Jesus,

  • We held a child dedication service at HIFBC Pulong Isla on August 11, 2021
  • Our Monthly meeting with Christian workers was held on August 20, 2021.
    • We discussed at length ways to deal with the ongoing Covid19 protocols.
    • We also introduced the GMCT generational mapping coaching tool.
      • Remembering what Dr Sillings brought us years ago: “Good questions bring good answers”; we worked on formulating good questions for us to use when reporting and implementing action steps
    • Progress on the church building in Banaoang is coming along slow, as they are only able to move forward as the income comes in for the construction.
    • I met with our ‘Preaching club’ in two locations. Our pastors and members are doing well. Also, preaching points and Home Bible studies are doing fine.
    • With regards to the projects here at the Bible school campus, things are progressing slow as we are having a hard time finding volunteers and paid laborers.
    • We are still in need of a copy machine and a laptop computer for use in preparing printed material I use in trainings, seminars etc.

That will conclude our report for the month of August 2021. Thank you so much for your kindness and support of the work here on the Philippine field.
